16 Gun Fireproof Gun Safe - Black

Steelwater Gun Safes are constructed with 14 gauge steel for durability. The composite 5” thick door consists of 2 layers of fire-board and measures 53 1/4” in height and 15 7/8” in width.

The safe features double layer fire-board in the walls, ceiling, floor, and door jams, as well as a total of 10 solid steel locking bolts with chrome plated active bolts and additional inactive bolts for complete bolt coverage on all 4 sides. The 3 Way direct drive lock & bolt system, along with the drill/ballistic resistant hard plate, ensures protection against tampering.

An internal spring loaded re-locking bolt adds extra security, while the heat activated expandable door seal keeps smoke and water out in case of a fire. The safe has a semi-gloss textured powder coat black finish with silver pin striping and a polished chrome lever handle.

The interior is fully upholstered in grey and includes a two-section gun rack for up to 8 long guns per section, along with 4 adjustable/removable shelves. Additionally, there is a full length shelf and 3 small shelves for storage options.

The steel locking bolts have a diameter of 1 1/2” and are almost 2” long, providing strong protection against pry attacks. The safe also comes with an E.M.P. proof system and an included door organizer.

Automatic LED interior lighting is included, along with a Dry Pack 200 gram silica gel rechargeable dehumidifying box. The safe offers a limited lifetime fire and burglary warranty, as well as a 1-year in-home warranty.

The Steelwater Gun Safe SWSD16 is priced at $1,099 with a capacity of 16 long guns, while the SWHD16 is priced at $1,299 for the same capacity. The SWSD20 and AMHD593024 models have higher capacities and price points, offering a range of options to suit your needs.
